The mission of Yayasan Lengis Hijau is to provide long term sustainable used cooking oil recycling solution in Bali that generates profit which is partly reinvested in the expansion of the organisation and partly in social and environmental community projects.

Long Description :
In January of 2015, the graduating class of the Green School conceived the idea of a “Bio Bus” as a part of their legacy service. The idea was pitched as a biofueled “magic bus” that would help green the community’s transportation service. In June of 2015 the Bio Bus pilot program was launched. Most recently, Bio Bus opened the first B(100) Pump Station in Indonesia
The Bio Bus team will conduct an open session on Sustainable Transportation at Dojo Bali to kick start the UN Influx Global Hackathon 2017 – Bali.
The UN Influx Bali is part of a global movement initiated by the UN in direct connection with their sustainable goals. In March 10th to 12th 2017, the UN Influx will host the event UN Influx Hackathon Series 2017 – Bali, a global hackathon happening at the same time in 9 regions worldwide.
