Improv (short for improvisation) is a method used to improve acting, public speaking and everything in between! In this workshop we will practice the art of acting without any pre-planning and explore how thinking on your feet can improve all facets of your life from sales to dating! Be prepared to have some fun in this interactive workshop!

About The Speakers:
Uptin Saiidi is a multimedia journalist with experience in working with major networks in New York City and Hong Kong.
He has been involved in public speaking from an early age – starting with debate competitions and later studying Business and Communications at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He now coaches others on voice and public speaking.
Katy Irwin is an improv comedy facilitation expert. She studied improv at Second City Chicago, UCB in New York City and Groundlings in Los Angeles, three of the world’s top comedy schools. Her interactive theatre credits include the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, Theatre MAMA in New York, and performances with world famous mime, Richmond Shepherd, at Gramercy theatre. She pushes people to step out of their comfort zones and use comedy to tap into their unique brilliance through storytelling and creative response.
