If you’ve been wanting to get practice in a language you are learning but feel shy or embarrassed to make mistakes, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Get some speaking practice with interesting and understanding people.

Speaking a different language can be very intimidating. Everybody who has ever learned a language after childhood remembers the struggle and can identify with people who are learning now. Often when we try to get some speaking practice, we end up switching back to our own language because we forget a word or are too nervous. At a language exchange, participants are asked to be patient and understanding of all skill levels.
