About the speakers
Rigel Walshe has been involved in Bitcoin since 2014. He has run several related businesses in his home country of New Zealand and has spoken at a number of Bitcoin conferences such as Baltic Honey Badger and Transylvanian Crypto Conference, as well as been interviewed about his work and insights on this field for several magazines and podcasts. He currently works as a software developer in the space.

Michael Hueschen was a core developer on the Cardano cryptocurrency ($ADA) from mid-2018 to the end of 2019. He’s written Haskell since 2012 and has worked professionally with it since 2014. After studiously ignoring the cryptocurrency hype for years, he finally caved in 2017 and read the Bitcoin & Ethereum whitepapers. Recognizing massive significance in their ability to shift power and sovereignty to the individual, as well as to reduce systemic dependence on financial & legal intermediaries, he fell down the rabbit hole and is still tumbling. Since leaving Cardano, he’s tinkering around in the crypto space, deciding what to create next.
