Calling all conscious coworkers to get involved with Cogiving!
This meetup is for all you talented and conscious coworkers who want to give back to the wider Balinese community but still don’t know how. Find out what Cogiving is all about and get to know how you can get involved. This month, we will be joined by Petr Hindrich, the founder / director of Greenbooks, who will present their story and volunteering opportunities. They are currently in need of a graphic / web designer to help them with the redesign of their website.
What is Cogiving
Cogiving is an outreach initiative by Dojo to connect the talented and conscious coworkers of the Dojo community with charities / social projects that work in various causes around Bali. Cogiving is one of the fundamental reasons Dojo was built. We want to build a community & business that has purpose behind it. We believe that through creating a community of like-minded and talented individuals, there is scope for delivering positive social and environmental impact towards the wider global community.
What you will learn:
- The story behind Cogiving
- Why we do this
- The charities we work with
- Cogiving projects
- Cogiving events
- Current skills needed by charities
- How to get involved
About the speaker:
Greenbooks promote eco-literacy in Indonesia. Eco-literacy is the ability to understand natural systems that make life on earth possible, we promote this knowledge through our 3 programs: Eco-Libraries, Eco-Activities and Eco-Communities.
